Some of the erased have also informed us that the administrative units and Slovenian embassies in other countries do not provide accurate information regarding the regulation of the status, the procedure of obtaining a permanent residence permit or about recently adopted law on compensations. The deadline for filing applications for permanent residence permit on the basis of ZUSDDD is expiring
Erased who do not have a legal status in the Republic of Slovenia, i.e. have not lodged an application for a permanent residence permit on the basis of ZUSDDD, have only two more weeks as 24 July 2013 is the deadline for submission of applications. Continue reading

The Erased can submit claims for compensation from 18. 6. 2014
The act on restitution of damage for persons who were erased from the Register of Permanent Population (ZPŠOIRSP) came into force on 18. 6. 2014, and all beneficiaries are able to file in a claim for compensation from that date in all administrative units in Slovenia (deadline will be 3 years – that is, from 18. 6. 2014 to 18. 6. 2017). Press release on the judgment of the Grand Chamber of the European Court of Human Rights
The Grand Chamber of the ECHR has ruled in the second part of the judgment on the amount of material compensation for the six erased applicants, who already achieved an important victory in 2012. In the first part of the judgment, the court ruled that the erasure and its implications constitute a violation of human rights of the erased applicants. Continue reading
