Training on human rights at international borders

Between 9. and 13. May 2022, Iza Thaler attended Training on human rights at international borders: Human rights principles, monitoring, safety and security, organised by the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR). The training provided for information sharing, building on best practices in the region and coalition strengthening together with partners from non-governmental and international organisations, media-workers and lawyers from BiH, Croatia, Serbia, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Kosovo, Hungary and North Macedonia. The objective of the training was to enable human rights defenders from the South-Eastern Europe region to carry out quality and objective human rights monitoring activities in a safe and secure manner while considering relevant gender and vulnerability aspects.
