Mapping Capacity of Civil Society Dealing with Anti-Discrimination

On 15-16 June 2005 in hotel Ribno, Bled in Slovenia, the Peace Institute organized a Seminar for Non-Governmental Organizations Combatting Discrimination«. The seminar was attended by nearly 50 NGO representatives, from Roma, Sinti, disabled, unrecognized minorities, gays and lesbians, lederly andf youth organizations, and other organizations working against discrimination with legal or other social, supoport and counseling programs. The lecturers at the seminar were Admir Baltić, MA (Peace Institute), Jasminka Dedić, MA (Equal Opportunities Office), Neža Kogovšek, LL.M (Peace Institute), Andreja Mrak (Amnesty International Slovenia), Klaudija Poropat (YHD – Association for Theory and Culture of Handicap) and Tomaž Trplan (Peace Institute.
Project is led by Human European Consultancy and Migration Policy Group; the Peace Institute is an implementing partner of the project in Slovenia.
