FeMiPol: Integration of Female Immigrants in Labour Market and Society: Policy Assessment and Policy Recommendations
International workshop
As part of an international project (Femipol) the workshop aims at exchanging information and experiences with interviewing migrant women among project partners, discussing methodological and ethical questions, implementation, and planning future research and dissemination activities. The project is organized with the purpose to foster understanding of migration flows in different countries, and reflect the position of migrating women. The aim is to facilitate the presentation of the analyses of needs and rights of female migrants in the care sector and domestic services. In addition, the workshop aims at analyzing current migration policies and integration bills, with a specific focus on the gender dimension, and taking into account life biographies of female migrants.
