Open Government Partnership initiative

The Peace Institute co-signed a statement of civil society organisations (CSOs) inviting the European Union to join the Open Government Partnership initiative. The initiative joins non-governmental organisations and governments of states that strive to become more open, accountable and transparent. CSOs addressed the invitation to the European Union whose procesures of policy preparation and decision-making yet have to become open and transparent.
