International symposium Life Course and Everyday Life of Older People Living in Poverty: Call for abstracts

Simpozij 0307_FWe are collecting abstracts for the international symposium Life Course and Everyday Life of Older People Living in Poverty. The symposium will take place on 28-29 November 2024 at the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Ljubljana. The main aim of the symposium is to discuss how the welfare state has defined, standardised and shaped the lives of older people living in poverty over time (from the Second World War to the present day), and how it has influenced the choices people have made over the course of their lives, culminating in poverty in old age.
