International Conference City for Everybody

We invite you to an international conference City for Everybody, dedicated to addressing issues of racism, xenophobia, discrimination, integration, and anti-racist policies at the local level.

- WHERE? City Hall, Mestni trg 1, Ljubljana
The conference will bring together representatives from city municipalities, non-governmental organisations, educational institutions, and migrant organisations from Ljubljana, Zagreb, Budapest, and Malmö to discuss the crucial role of local action in combating racism and fostering integration.
We will also be joined by Mr. Danijel Benjamin Cubelic, Vice President of the European Coalition of Cities Against Racism (ECCAR), who will present the coalition’s efforts in the fight against racism. The ECCAR coalition includes over 150 European cities, each of which has developed its own local anti-racist action plans.
The conference will be conducted in English with no translation into Slovenian. The program is attached to this invitation.

The conference is organized as part of the international project City for Everybody – Building Responsible Action for Inclusive Local Communities (CIFER), which we have been implementing over the past two years in the cities of Ljubljana, Zagreb, Budapest, Malmö, and Paris.
