Last week in Kigali: NWC and Umutima women were having art focused group workshop with Vlasta Jalusic from the Peace Institute: »A lot of effort was made to free the creative minds and the group was successful in that. While thinkig about their daily lifes, work, family and personal life women worked with line and colors in different media. Feelings and emotions were expressed through both line and color«.
After the first three days a smaller group of 6 women continued with work for the next twoo days in order to develop diverse patterns and abstract motives that could be used in the process of making batik at GloCreations next week. On the last day, after four days of working with imagination and connecting their mind, eye and hand the six women created a big colorful canvas.
