Comments on the RTV Slovenia Act by international experts

Approaching the referendum on the RTV Slovenia Act (scheduled for 12 December 2010), the Peace Institute requested from the renown international experts and organisations to evaluate the law. The activity is aimed at providing outside expert view to the law, which was adopted by the National Assembly on 20 October 2010. The comments provided by international experts also put the debates on regulation of the media system in Slovenia in international context.

The comments to the law were provided by Center for Law and Democracy (Toby Mendel), Karol Jakubowicz, and Michael A. Wagner from the Legal Department of EBU. They were distributed to the media and to relevant policy makers, initating further reflection and debate on the adopted law.
