Commenting migration on social media

Currently in POPMED project we are interested in how Facebook users react to media coverage of migration and the “refugee crisis”. Which media articles have the most responses, how users understand migration and government migration policies through media articles, to what extent is commenting populist and how it mobilizes affects? We discussed approaches and methodologies for analyzing online commentaries at the project group meeting on 7 October 2020.
