Researchers at the POPMED project Otto Penz and Birgit Sauer published a book with Routledge entitled Governing Affects: Neoliberalism, Neo-Bureaucracies, and Service Work. The book explores the neoliberal transformation of state governance in Europe towards affective forms of dominance.
