AFEMED project updates

In the research group of the Affective Media (AFEMED) project, we discussed the interim results of our analysis and planned research activities for this year at a work meeting on February 3rd. The analysis of media ownership data in Slovenia over the past twenty years has shown an increasing trend of ownership concentration and the consolidation of a small number of owners, which accelerates the centralization of media.

As part of the project, we also conducted two field studies, including interviews with selected media directors and journalists. Based on this data, we are examining the policies and practices of affective governance.

In the coming months, we will carry out an analysis of the collected material, work on publications and public presentations of findings at conferences and other events.
