The Baltic Human Rights Society was honored with this prestigious award for the project “Inclusive human rights education – a gateway to civic participation and common values of European citizen”, in which the Peace Institute also participates as a partner.
The core element of the project is the self-help platform Human Rights Guide, which promotes inclusive human rights education in various European countries, including Slovenia. This award clearly underscores the importance of initiatives that contribute to building shared values and fostering active citizenship across Europe.
Zane Gailīte, Director of the Erasmus+ Programme Department at VIAA, noted:
“The Erasmus+ Quality Award “Spārni” recognises excellence – not only in project ideas and implementation, but also in the values that permeate them. These projects significantly enrich the educational environment, where not only knowledge is acquired, but also our society grows and develops.”
