Gender and Governmental Budget

Main purpose of the workshop was to address and give a potential answer to the question: how far can gender mainstreaming affect the macroeconomic policy in different countries? One of the objectives was to investigate the impact of governmental budget on women and men and to introduce gender-sensitive structure of governmental budgeting in different areas, where gender is recognized as an important dimension and where the politics of equal opportunities is taken into the account. The major topic of the workshop was the macroeconomic policy, particularly labor market policy and the invisible/unpaid labor.
