Daniel Thiele
Daniel Thiele is a team member of the research project “Political and Media Populism: ‘Refugee Crisis’ in Slovenia and Austria” at the University of Vienna (coordinated by Univ.-Prof. Dr. Birgit Sauer, funded by FWF). He has studied political sciences at the universities of Mannheim (BA) and Vienna (MA). He has worked as student assistant at the University of Vienna (2013-2016) and for the German Longitudinal Election Study (GLES) at the Mannheim Centre for European Social Research (MZES) (2010-2012). His research interests include critical theory, gender studies, right-wing populism, political communication and quantitative methods. His work brings together quantitative methods and a critical epistemological interest.
