The Peace Institute is committed to collecting and archiving life stories of the erased persons with a purpose to document the erasure and its consequences, and for a prupose to raise awareness of the general public about the way in which the erasure was committed and how it hurt the individual victims.
We believe that by documenting the erasure we can prevent this unlawful act to be erased from history and that we can contribute to preventing any similar act from taking place in the future.
We collect life stories for our archive on erasure. With your consent we can also publish your life story on this website under a pseudonym (see life stories of erased persons). In documentation of stories we ensure that all rules on personal data protection are respected.
If you would like to share your story or the story of your next-of-kin with us, you are kindly invited to contact us (use the contact form below). We are looking forward to listening to your story.
